Simplest minimalist soy candles
OK, I know ‘Champagne’ isn’t actually inspired by the great outdoors, but pretty much the rest of these candles are!
And all the scents are inspired by their creator's travels, experiences and memories.
I love that - fragrance is so evocative and can just instantly take you back to a place, or a time, or even a mood.
I found out from the founder, Hannah, that she started the business to pay homage to her beloved home of the Pacific Northwest during a harsh winter living in New York City.
Her passion is for creating eco-conscious and premium scented candles.
Every candle is hand-poured and mixed in small batches of just eight to ensure quality.
All scents are phthalate-free. The candles are made using healthy and environmentally friendly ingredients. They are all vegan and fragrances are never tested on animals.
There are so many more gorgeous fragrances I want to try but I thought I’d pick a very small collection to start with - and all absolutely perfect for now.
Honestly, I love these so much and hope you do too!
Hand-poured soy candles in an 9 oz glass straight sided jar. Candle is three inches in diameter & burns for 50+ hours.
SUN + SAND
Hannah says: The smell of summer after a sun filled day at the beach. Driftwood combines with the light notes of coconut, sandalwood, musk and sun bleached sand creating the candle that is beachy yet timeless. The light scent of coconut combined with sea salt will remind you of the summer long after you've left the beach.
I say: I ADORE this candle. It’s warm and coconut-ty and soothing and I have it burning right now on this night of icy rain and storms and it’s soft and calming and beautiful.
Yes, like sunshine and sand. A reminder of summer. Actually not a reminder because it’s here right now.
CAMPFIRE
Hannah says: For years I have wanted to create the perfect Campfire candle. One that isn't too smokey and still captured the magic of sitting around a campfire and being hypnotized by the flames. Combining oud, amber and myrrh with crackling cedar smoke and leather to create the perfect blend - with all the magic of the campfire without the intense smoke feel.
I say: I was expecting more smokiness from this initially (even though I’d read her description).
But I have grown to love it. A lot. Ok after lighting it maybe twice … :)
I find it really grounding and beautiful (as I do a camp fire). It is warm and heartfelt and just makes me want to stay by it. I admit I sometimes light this candle in the daytime before (and during) a work meeting that I think might be stressful.
So for me it’s the quality of being at one with the world and nature- as I am at a campfire - that this beautiful candle also gives me.
CHAMPAGNE
Hannah says: Fizzy notes of champagne are combined with notes of effervescent lime and vanilla, creating a delicious and crowd pleasing fragrance. This candle is a great gift for anyone celebrating a milestone!
I say: OK, I sort of chose this one on a gut feeling and because, CHAMPAGNE. And I love it. It really is like lime and vanilla and happiness - and to be honest I’m not sure if that’s how I’d describe champagne but I really don’t care because it’s bubbly and lovely. What more could I want?
